Extra wide calf wellies

Prefect size around calf area but so baggy around ankles need to wear think socks to tighten this area.

Second pair!

This is my second pair of these and I think they're great.

Sadly not impressed.

I really wanted to love these, I needed a pair of plain black wellies to look professional (not love hearts or polka dots etc) so I was over the moon to find these. I measured correctly and according to the chart I should as a UK 8 in fact need a 9. So I ordered up and as it turns out after using them (and too late for a refund obviously) that they won't stay on and there is too much material in the ankle. So, it was an expensive lesson sadly. Even with thick socks and an insole I will probably end up listing them for sale on an auction site.

Baggy Ankles

I am a UK9, 53cm calf, 5'10" tall. These look lovely, very smart, but the ankles were really baggy, and the foot was really wide too. My foot just slipped right out.

The description says they will fit 45-53cm calves, but I could get them round mine when the straps were fully closed so I'd say the capacity is much bigger than that.

Having said that, I think they were a little short for me, and perhaps weren't hitting my calves at their widest point.

I have bought the Navy "hard wearing" boots instead. The fit around the foot and ankle is MUCH better, and still plenty of room round the calf.
