Extra Wide Calf Green Neoprene Wellies - Wide in Foot and Ankle - Fit 40-50cm Calf

As I now have to wear a splint on my ankle due to arthritis I was unable to get my existing neoprene wellies on and was desperate to find something suitable so I could carry on dog walking and looking after the horses during the coming winter. These boots were recommended so I purchased a pair and was relieved to find that I could get them on (and off) easily. I like neoprene boots as they are warmer in the winter so I'm hoping these will be the same. The only down side is that they aren't quite as comfortable to walk in as my old Grubs boots . I am also slightly concerned that the tread pattern will not be as safe in the mud and snow as they have more of a "townie" wellie boot tread and I've found in the past that the traction isn't very good in boots with this type of tread.

Following an operation I have a very swollen leg and ankle, and have been unable to wear gumboots. Even if the calf of the boot is wide enough I can never get my foot round the bend at the bottom. I was not sure whether these boots would fit but in fact they slid on very easily. They are slightly less high than my old Hunter boots but at least I can now got through much deeper water than with ankle boots, and I am very pleased with my extra wide calf wellies and hope they last.
