    Lovely boots.

    I normally take a size 5 shoe, but go up a size for wellies. I also have bunions and find most wellies too tight in width. I don’t actually have wide calves, but I love these wellies because I can wear wellie socks and tuck my trousers into the top of the wellies. They are also much easier to get on and off!

    I think I may have got away with buying a size 5, as the wellies are quite roomy, even taking into account my bunions, but I also purchased a pair of your orthopaedic inner soles, and along with the wellies socks, I’m finding them very comfortable.

    I’m just hoping that they stand up to daily dog walks and wear well!

Our Welly Story

It all started over 20 years ago when our sister-in-law took a pair of scissors to her wellies. Not for fashion reasons, mind you—she just needed her boots to actually fit her calves. One soggy winter and a lot of mud later, we decided it was time someone gave wide fit wellies the love they deserve.

Fast forward to today, and we’ve helped over 200,000 people step into comfy, durable, waterproof boots that don’t just survive the British countryside—they thrive in it.
