    Half height wellies

    I really like them. First time customer, a joy to slide my foot in without getting stuck! I'm short and so the half height is brilliant. I've been over the muddy fields, the tread is good. My feet, ankles and calves have room, so I can wear wool socks. I'm really pleased with them.

    These are the first wellies I've bought in decades. I'm working on Sundays in a muddy farmyard so they are essential. I have very wide feet with high insteps, & wear orthotics in my shoes. I wore them for the first time last Sunday, & forgot my feet - they were so comfortable, did the job & looked good. Happy feet = happy me.

    Width etc great

    Wellies fit perfectly with waterproofs/jeans according to measurements I provided. I normally get a size up but I followed the advice to stick to actual size and am pleased I did. Only thing is that I had hoped the soles were thicker but I do have funny feet and didn't opt for the working boots as I only use them for the mini 'farm 'at school

    Super wellies at last!

    I love these wellies. Haven't been able to wear wellies for a long time because of swollen ankles and at last I have found some that I can actually get my foot - and ankle - around the bend between leg and foot. Very well made and sturdy and they should protect me from muddy walks in the forest for a long time to come. Well worth the higher cost. I stupidly ordered my normal size, but, although they fit OK, I shall return and order the next size up to accommodate some thick, warm socks.

    Wide across the foot

    Nice and wide across the foot which was the main thing I wanted; a good fit with the inner soles added.

    I would have preferred a less wide calf, but at least it's easy to tuck in the trousers.

    Heavier than the leather boots I used to wear - that is OK around the allotment, but hard work walking to it.

It all started over 20 years ago when our sister-in-law took a pair of scissors to her boots. Not for fashion reasons, mind you—she just needed her wellies to actually fit her calves. One soggy winter and a lot of mud later, we decided it was time someone gave wide fit wellies the love they deserve.
