    Wellingtons that Fit Perfectly

    I am over the moon that I can actually get my feet in these wellingtons, getting my foot in them and them fitting my leges with plenty of room to spare. I haven’t had boots or Wellingtons since the age of 11 I couldn’t get my feet in them. I’m now 76 and I’m overjoyed that I have a fabulous pair of Purple boots I can actually get on. I’m in my happy place with these. Thank you so much.

    Excellent purchase

    Having been disappointed on several occasions before, I was sceptical about buying these. The whole process was very easy and efficient. The wellies are fantastic and I love wearing them, they are so easy to slip on and off. I have been channeling my inner child and have been jumping in the puddles. However, I am just waiting for my Vicar of Dibley moment 😃.

    Good quality material and huge calf space

    The material is tick and robust and really shiny. They look great. The rim around the foor looks like it will stand up to some wear.

    The calf size on these extra wide is really extra wide. Unlike some others advertised as extra wide. There is room for my calves AND my trousers! And it's not tight and cutting off my circulation.

    My only criticism is the ankles are wide too! Not everyone with big calves also has big ankles. Mine are slim, and the ankle part is loose and floppy. Have to see if that causes problems as I go.

    Great and not great

    Great:

    So pleased at last to find proper wide calf wellies and in purple. My favourite colour.

    Not so great: I have standard size feet and standard ankles. The standard feet and ankle wellies only go up to 49cm.

    This annoying. I'll have to pad them out with insoles etc which is a further expense and hassle. Just because I have wide calfs it doesn't automatically mean the rest is wide.

Our Welly Story

It all started over 20 years ago when our sister-in-law took a pair of scissors to her wellies. Not for fashion reasons, mind you—she just needed her boots to actually fit her calves. One soggy winter and a lot of mud later, we decided it was time someone gave wide fit wellies the love they deserve.

Fast forward to today, and we’ve helped over 200,000 people step into comfy, durable, waterproof boots that don’t just survive the British countryside—they thrive in it.
